A Very Forgetful Country

Few years back, Malaysia went to ICJ making an attempt to stop Singapore from reclaiming land within Singapore's own territory. The move was unsuccessful due to some obvious reasons.

However, ICJ was kind enough to issue a statement to save Malaysia's face. It said Singapore must always take into consideration of the feeling of the neighouring countries before acting even though thing is to be carried at her full right.

With the statement, the Malaysians cheered and celebrated. They forgot that their intention is to perpetually stop Singapore from reclaiming land which could result in a bigger land area.

Today, Malaysians claim that they won part of the battle and they celebrate again as ICJ has given middle rocks to them. This time they forget that they are asking for the ownership of Pedra Branca which houses the horseburgh lighthouse, and not just the few rocks.
